Sustainable Skills and Empowerment for the Youth
AHCM would like to reduce vulnerability and dependency among the young people in 5 Districts of Central Uganda (Kampala, Mpigi, Wakiso, Mityana and Mubende) through vocational skills training. This project will benefit 12,000 Youth in the 5 Districts of Central Uganda by reducing the unemployment rate among the youth and increasing the number of youth learning vocational skills rather than getting degree courses that don’t lead to jobs. We have raised $38,865.00 USD so far but we still need $3,917 USD more to finish the project.
We are glad to let you know that the school has already opened and students studying. We have started with two courses: Hair Dressing and Cosmetology and Tailoring & Fashion Design.
